Taco Stolk

Taco Stolk is an artist and has been Metamedia lecturer at the Interfaculteit Beeld & Geluid since 1997. Since 2000, he has also been initiator and head of the ExtraFaculteit at the Koninklijke Academie in The Hague. This programme examines the shifting and fading boundaries between art and other big elements in society, such as science, business and politics. In addition, he has been involved since 2001 in the Media Technology Master's programme at the Computer Science Department at the University of Leiden.

Taco Stolk is also involved in other activities in various areas. He has been an editor, web-designer and designer concerned with content in the establishment of the Dutch digital VPRO broadcasting organisation (1994-1996). He has made television items for this broadcasting organisation and composed music for CD-ROMS and television programmes.
